The film tells the story of Balaraju (Sivakarthikeyan), a carefree young man who lives in a small village in Andhra Pradesh. He falls in love with Mahalakshmi (Hansika Motwani), the daughter of the village head (Samuthirakani). However, their love is forbidden, as Mahalakshmi is already engaged to another man. Balaraju must now find a way to win Mahalakshmi’s heart and convince her father to approve their marriage.
