Geetha Govindam plot
Nitya’s car breaks down in the middle of the night and she goes to Vijay Govind, who asks for a bottle of liquor in return for help and starts narrating his recent experiences. Vijay, a traditional lecturer, falls in love with Geeta, but a misunderstanding on the bus journey creates tension.
Forced to work together for the family wedding, Vijay’s attempts at forgiveness are met with Geeta’s continued resentment. Meanwhile, Vijay’s rejection of a student’s advances adds another layer of complexity.
As Geeta’s wedding approaches, Vijay learns of his nomination as the groom, he confesses to his brother-in-law and attempts to get Geeta back. At Nithya’s suggestion, Vijay intervenes in the wedding, confesses his feelings, and wins Geeta back, culminating with a kiss on the bus journey home.
